Potato Supplier Goes Bust

MBMG, a UK potato supplier, has gone into administration.
Its sites at Holbeach and Lincolnshire, in England, are due to close on Friday, July 31. This has resulted in the loss of 100 jobs in the fresh produce sector.

The company supplied potatoes, field vegetables and salads to supermarkets, wholesalers and processors. The administrators Grant Thornton could not find a buyer for the company in time.
