Classic crisp manufacturer, Golden Wonder, has won a contract to supply snacks to East Coast Trains, UK.

The quintessentially British company usurped a rival brand to clinch the contract which will involve providing crisps on inter-city train runs.

The East Coast Main Line runs between London and Scotland with Golden Wonder crisps being sold on 137 weekday services to more than 18 million passengers each year.

Human resources manager for the firm, Andy Symonds, said: "Any increase in sales volumes adds to the long-term security of jobs in the company."
