Starch production capacity increased
Tate & Lyle, a global provider of food ingredients and solutions, has announced the expansion of its instant starch production capacity at its European flagship manufacturing facility in Koog aan de Zaan, The Netherlands.

Hungry Jack Spud Products Bought by Basic American Foods PDF Print E-mail
Basic American Foods has reached a deal to buy Hungry Jack and Idaho Spuds potato brand products.

The Californian company has manufactured and co-packed Hungry Jack and Idaho Spuds products for several years but is hoping the buy-out will increase their market presence.

The deal does not include Hungry Jack pancake mix and syrup products.

Other brands owned by the firm include Natures Own Potato Pearls Premium Mashed Potatoes, Golden Grill Russet Premium Hash Brown Potatoes, Potato Pearls Excel, Quick-Start Home Style Chili, and Santiago Refried and Seasoned Black Beans.
