Buhler Sortex receive enterprise award for sixth time PDF Print E-mail

Buhler Sortex's performance in competitive international markets was recognized recently when it was awarded a "Queen's Award for Enterprise" for the sixth time.

The award, in the International Trade category, follows those gained in 1968, 1972, 1987 and 2005. In 2001, Buhler Sortex, which is a unit of Uzwil, Switzerland-based Buhler AG, won the award for innovation.

Established by Royal Warrant in 1965, the Queen's Awards for Enterprise is a program for businesses that deliver outstanding performance in international trade, innovation or sustainable development.

The awards are made on the advice of the Prime Minister, and they are guided by an expert committee of leading government and business figures.
