OctoFrost And HiTec Unite Under New OctoCore Brand

Food processing technology suppliers OctoFrost and HiTec have announced the launch of a new unified brand, OctoCore, bringing together their combined expertise in thermal processing and freezing technologies under a single identity.
The move follows the merger of the two companies in 2025 and represents the latest step in the integration process. According to the company, the new brand combines technologies for frying, cooking, grilling, blanching, chilling and freezing, enabling it to offer a broader portfolio of solutions to food processors worldwide.
The company said the rebranding reflects a year of collaboration between the two organizations, during which they worked to combine their knowledge, technologies and industry expertise. By operating under a single brand, OctoCore aims to provide customers with a more streamlined offering and easier access to integrated processing solutions.
“Following the merger of OctoFrost and HiTec in 2025, we have been working closely together to combine knowledge, technologies, and expertise. As this journey continues, we are now bringing our capabilities together under one brand to support customers with more complete processing solutions in frying, cooking, grilling, chilling, and freezing,” the company stated.
OctoCore will continue to supply equipment and technologies for food manufacturers seeking improvements in product quality, process efficiency and operational performance. The company’s new brand promise, “Simply Intelligent Food Processing,” reflects its focus on combining technical expertise with practical and user-friendly processing solutions.
The launch also consolidates the companies’ combined capabilities across multiple thermal processing stages, an area of growing importance as food manufacturers increasingly seek integrated production solutions from fewer technology partners.
According to the company, the rebranding will not affect existing operations. Production facilities in Sweden and the Netherlands will continue to operate as before, while customers will continue working with the same teams and support networks.
“What has always connected us is the commitment to providing the right solution for every customer and that remains a core part of who we are,” the company said. “With a strong legacy of quality and innovation, we will continue focusing on supporting our customers and offering technologies that help food processors improve product quality and efficiency.”
The company added that while the name is changing, its commitment to customers remains unchanged. “Behind the new name are the same people, the same production sites in Sweden and the Netherlands, and the same commitment to helping customers succeed. What changes is the name. What grows stronger is our combined expertise, broader portfolio, and ability to help food processors succeed in an evolving industry.”
