Sormac Opens Southeast Asia Technology Hub In Bangkok

Sormac has established a new Southeast Asia Hub in Bangkok, Thailand, as the vegetable and fruit processing technology supplier moves to strengthen its presence across the Asia-Pacific region.
The new facility has been developed in partnership with Primary Engineering, Sormac’s authorized dealer for Thailand. The two companies have been working together to support customers in Thailand and other regional markets.
The Bangkok hub includes a fully equipped showroom and test area in a climate-controlled environment. According to the company, customers from across the region will be able to carry out trials using their own local products, supported by trained personnel during visits and testing.
The investment is intended to provide customers with more direct access to Sormac technology, while enabling faster collaboration and practical evaluation of equipment for the specific requirements of the Asia-Pacific market.
“With this initiative, we combine global expertise with a strong regional presence,” said Patrick Frencken, Sales Manager at Sormac. “This allows us to support customers from the early stages of a project through to daily operation, while remaining closely connected to their local needs and market conditions.”
Sormac will also exhibit at ProPak Asia 2026, which takes place from June 10 to 13 at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center in Bangkok. The company will participate in collaboration with Primary Engineering at Stand C3-AX54.
Machines highlighted by Sormac include the Slice and Wedge Cutter FS-1500, Slice and Wedge Cutter F-2000XL, Basket Centrifuge MC-44/Vario, Peeling Machine CBS/MBS and Belt Slicer BSM-150. The company said these machines are available for viewing and testing in the new showroom, with a selection also featured at ProPak Asia.
Sormac said the new technology hub reflects its long-term commitment to building partnerships and delivering reliable, efficient and sustainable processing solutions to customers worldwide.
Headquartered in Venlo, the Netherlands, Sormac manufactures machinery for cutting, peeling, washing and drying vegetables and fruit for the fresh convenience industry. The privately owned company operates offices in the US, UK and Germany, and supplies equipment worldwide through its own sales organization and an international dealer network.
