Dutch TecSource (DTS) has appointed MTS Foods as its commercial partner in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, expanding its regional sales and technical support network for food-processing equipment.

Under the agreement, Bengaluru-based MTS Foods will become the regional commercial point of contact for DTS equipment and projects. It will coordinate customer enquiries and provide first-line technical support, while DTS specialists will remain responsible for application engineering, customised equipment and project delivery.

The partnership covers DTS’s complete equipment portfolio, including blanching, cooking and cooling systems used in potato processing. The Dutch manufacturer specialises in auger-based thermal processing and also supplies systems and complete lines for vegetables, fruit, mushrooms and protein products.

DTS said it has more than 800 blanchers, cookers and coolers installed worldwide, including over 50 machines in India. The company has operated in thermal food processing for more than 30 years and is part of the Sticomax Group.

The potential is remarkable, and with MTS’ strong application knowledge and customer proximity we can respond much more effectively to our existing and new customers,” said André van Berkel, CEO of DTS.

MTS Foods, the market-facing name of Menon Technical Services Private Limited, was founded in 2006. The company supplies processing and sorting technologies for the potato, snack-food, fruit, vegetable, nut and speciality-food industries from its headquarters in Bengaluru and regional locations in Noida and Ahmedabad.

Its activities include equipment sales, application support, installation coordination, commissioning assistance, spare parts and after-sales service.

Working with DTS adds deep experience in customised thermal and process equipment to the solutions we can bring to customers, backed by our commercial and technical organisation in the region,” said Krishna Kumar Menon, managing director of MTS Foods.

For new projects, MTS Foods and DTS will jointly assess factors including the product, required capacity, processing conditions, utilities, hygiene requirements and integration with other equipment before developing a proposed technical solution.

MTS Foods will also act as the first regional contact for existing DTS installations in the three countries, involving DTS engineering and specialist support where required.

The companies plan to present the partnership at FoodPro 2026 in Chennai from August 7 to 9 and at Anuga FoodTec India in Mumbai from September 29 to October 1.
