FPS Commits to Worldwide Capacity Expansion Across the Americas, Europe, MEA and China

FPS Food Process Solutions has outlined a wide-ranging global expansion programme aimed at strengthening its manufacturing, logistics and technology capabilities across multiple regions, with new and expanded facilities scheduled to come online throughout 2026.
The Vancouver-based supplier of turn-key food processing solutions said the expansion programme spans the Middle East and Africa, North and South America, Europe and China, reflecting its focus on supporting global food manufacturers with increased local capacity, inventory availability and technical infrastructure.
In the Middle East and Africa region, FPS MEA is opening its second location in central Morocco. The new site will function as a regional logistics centre overseeing equipment, spare parts and inventory for MEA markets and is scheduled to be fully operational in January 2026.
In North America, FPS subsidiary GEM Equipment of Oregon is currently undergoing renovations at its Mt Angel, Oregon facility. The expansion, expected to be completed in spring 2026, will add a 110,000 ft² (10,200 m²) space designed to accommodate manufacturing operations, spare parts, inventory and office functions.
FPS is also expanding its footprint in South America with a new facility in São Paulo, Brazil. The 29,000 ft² (2,700 m²) site is located within a major industrial technology area and is expected to offer manufacturing, spare parts and office space by summer 2026.
In Asia, FPS has recently held a ground-breaking ceremony for a new nine-floor facility in Zhongshan, Guangdong, China. Scheduled for completion in autumn 2026, the 119,000 ft² (11,100 m²) site will incorporate an integrated food production platform, equipment research and development operations, a global training centre and a technological command centre enabling real-time remote equipment monitoring.
European operations are also set to expand, with FPS planning to complete an enlargement of its Goes, Netherlands facility by the end of 2026. The project is expected to increase manufacturing capacity and inventory space to a total of 61,000 ft² (5,700 m²).
Commenting on the global programme, Jeffrey Chang, President of FPS Food Process Solutions Corp., said: “2026 will be a major year in implementing this new chapter of development for FPS — one where innovation, technology, manufacturing and full-scale production are fully coming together in key locations around the world. What was once an idea is turning into reality where industry professionals can make a difference, all to advance the future of food manufacturing.”
