FPS Food Process Solutions Expands U.S. Footprint with Major Manufacturing and Service Investments

FPS Food Process Solutions, a global leader in turn-key food processing systems, is reinforcing its commitment to the U.S. market through significant investments in manufacturing capacity and customer support infrastructure. The company’s strategic moves come amid rising geopolitical tensions and tariff concerns, positioning FPS to better serve U.S.-based clients with localized production and faster service response times.
A major milestone in this expansion is FPS’s investment in a 140,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Saginaw, Michigan, designed to ensure timely delivery of parts and services while offering flexible production capabilities for U.S. customers.
“We opened our U.S. headquarters three years ago to solidify our role as a global leader,” said Jay Loy, General Manager, U.S. Operations. “By expanding our U.S. team and manufacturing capabilities, we are vertically integrating our supply chain and strengthening our responsiveness to evolving market dynamics.”
Further expanding its U.S. presence, FPS’s subsidiary GEM Equipment of Oregon is undergoing renovations at its Mt. Angel facility, which will increase total space to 95,000 square feet. The site upgrade includes the addition of advanced manufacturing equipment to boost productivity and meet the rising demand in the U.S. food processing sector.
To address growing customer demand for localized service, FPS has also established a new service center in Idaho. The facility will serve as a hub for equipment inspections, retrofits, technical support, and spare parts inventory—ensuring quicker response times and greater operational continuity for U.S.-based clients.
“Since our founding in 2010, FPS has consistently demonstrated its loyalty to end users by delivering high levels of service and support,” said Jeffrey Chang, President, FPS Food Process Solutions Corp. “From our Canadian headquarters, we remain committed to strengthening all our global operations, especially in the U.S. market. Our customers know we stand by them, and we intend to keep that promise.”
These ongoing investments further entrench FPS as a trusted partner for food processors across North America, offering tailored solutions backed by localized manufacturing and responsive service infrastructure.
