GRIMME Centralizes Spare Parts Logistics at New Rieste Facility

GRIMME Landmaschinenfabrik has opened a new parts centre in Rieste, Germany, centralizing its spare parts logistics and distribution of GRIMME Original Parts.
The facility has been established in a former e-bike factory built in 2024 and acquired by GRIMME in 2025. Following conversion, the site provides 6,700 sqm of workshop space and 1,700 sqm of office and staff facilities.
Located directly on the A1 motorway, the parts centre is GRIMME’s second site in Niedersachsenpark.
The company says the facility holds more than 12,000 different items and that new logistics and warehousing systems have increased order-picking efficiency by 40% and delivery speed by 20%.
The centre will supply more than 400 GRIMME sales and service partners as well as more than 30 company-owned locations worldwide. An express collection area also allows parts ordered in advance through specialist dealers to be collected around the clock.
Moving spare parts activities to Rieste will free capacity at GRIMME’s main logistics centre in Damme, which will now be dedicated to supplying materials for production and manufacturing.
“This enables us to supply our customers and sales partners with original parts even more quickly and flexibly,” Christoph Grimme said.
More than 60 employees were involved in bringing the new facility into operation. GRIMME has also acquired adjacent property to provide room for potential future expansion.
