Newly Formed Potato Processing Group Unveils Foodera Technologies Brand

Foodera Technologies has been unveiled as the new global group brand bringing together Kiremko, Idaho Steel, Reyco Systems, Tummers Group and Van der Giessen under a single corporate identity.
The announcement follows the completion of the acquisition of Tummers Group and Van der Giessen by the industrial group comprising Kiremko, Idaho Steel and Reyco Systems, a transaction disclosed on June 22. The new corporate brand represents the next step in the group’s development following the acquisition of Kiremko, Idaho Steel and Reyco Systems by an independently managed investment subsidiary of Investindustrial Fund VIII SCSp and its affiliates in August 2025.
According to the company, Foodera Technologies combines engineering expertise, processing technologies and customer relationships across the global food processing sector. The group said the new identity reflects its ambition to help food processors improve performance, increase efficiency, reduce waste and prepare for future industry challenges.
The organisation brings together businesses with expertise spanning potato processing, product handling, drying technologies, installation services and integrated production systems. Combined, the group is expected to generate approximately €400 million in annual revenue while maintaining operations across Europe, North America and South Asia.
For customers, the company said the transition to Foodera Technologies is intended to provide continuity while expanding access to the broader capabilities of the enlarged group. Kiremko, Idaho Steel, Reyco Systems, Tummers Group and Van der Giessen will continue to operate as established specialist brands.
“Foodera Technologies is more than a new name. It is a clearer expression of the group we are building: a global technology partner with the expertise, scale and ambition to support food producers through the next phase of industry development. By bringing together some of the most respected names in food processing, we are creating a stronger platform for innovation, collaboration and customer success. Our name is new, but our commitment remains the same: to help customers perform better today and prepare for tomorrow,” said Gerardo Chiaia, President and CEO.
The launch of Foodera Technologies is accompanied by a new corporate website designed to provide customers, partners and industry stakeholders with a single access point to information about the group’s technologies, capabilities and strategic direction.
The company said the new group structure is intended to support food producers facing increasing pressure to improve productivity, reduce waste and enhance operational efficiency while responding to changing market requirements.
