Oxbo and Allan Equipment Forge Exclusive Partnership in North America

Oxbo International has entered an exclusive dealer agreement with Allan Equipment Manufacturing, strengthening its position in the North American potato sector.
Announced on August 14, the agreement grants Oxbo the rights to sell and service Allan Equipment’s portfolio of potato planting and harvesting machinery across most U.S. states and selected Canadian provinces. The deal expands Oxbo’s offering by integrating Allan’s precision planters, windrowers, pull-type harvesters, pilers, and bulk carts with Oxbo’s self-propelled harvesting technology.
“Allan’s innovation in potato planting and harvesting, combined with Oxbo’s unmatched service network, is a powerful combination for growers,” said Joe Perzia, President of Oxbo’s High Value Crop Division. “This agreement underscores our commitment to bringing the most advanced and reliable solutions to potato producers.”
Allan Equipment, based in Prince Edward Island, Canada, has been designing and manufacturing potato machinery for decades. Its new precision potato planter is built to deliver improved accuracy in seed spacing, depth, and population—features aimed at increasing efficiency and consistency for commercial growers.
Trent Cousins, co-owner of Allan Equipment, said: “Partnering with Oxbo gives us a tremendous opportunity to bring our equipment to a much broader customer base across North America.”
Danie Van Schalkwyk, co-owner of Allan Equipment, added: “Oxbo’s strong technical support and extensive dealer network mean that growers will get the best possible service alongside our products.”
The agreement reflects ongoing consolidation in the North American potato equipment market, as manufacturers seek to combine complementary technologies to serve both processing and fresh-market producers.
