Restrain Company Limited has opened a new UK headquarters in Harrogate, marking a strategic consolidation of its leadership and operational base as the company continues to expand globally.

The new facility, officially announced on 9 January 2026, represents a return to the company’s UK roots and is intended to support both domestic operations and Restrain’s growing international footprint in the potato storage sector. The headquarters brings the company’s leadership team together in the UK, a move the business says will strengthen coordination across markets.

The investment comes as Restrain continues to develop its global network, supplying potato growers and storage operators in multiple regions.

Restrain has built its business around natural sprout control and storage technologies for potatoes, positioning its solutions as residue-free and aligned with increasing sustainability and regulatory requirements in agricultural production. The company states that its technology is designed to help growers maintain crop quality in storage while meeting rising demand for low-residue production systems.

Founded more than two decades ago, Restrain has steadily expanded beyond its original markets, supplying solutions to growers and packers worldwide. The company says the new UK headquarters will play a central role in supporting further international growth while maintaining close ties to its domestic base.
