Syngenta Announces New Head of Business Sustainability for North America
Syngenta has announced the appointment of Chris Davison as head of Business Sustainability for North America, effective June 1. Davison, previously head of Corporate & Government Affairs for Syngenta in Canada, is relocating from Guelph, Ontario, to Washington, D.C.
Since joining Syngenta in 2012, Davison has been leading the company’s adoption of significant sustainability initiatives in Canada and has been conducting multiple advocacy efforts in support of farmers and the industry. He has extensive experience in agriculture, in both the public and private sectors, including leading public relations and communications practices with private-sector consulting firms and working with the federal government in Canada, where he advised on matters relating to animal health, plant health, food safety, industry regulations, and trade.
