Triple Jubilee for Lutosa

The recent celebration of Lutosa’s 45th anniversary marked the culmination of an amazing 45 years marked by achievement, creativity, and a dedication to quality.
The second Lutosa plant, located in Sint-Eloois-Vijve (Waregem), was inaugurated in 1988 and is currently commemorating its 35th anniversary. The fact that it falls on the tenth anniversary of McCain’s administration is even more cause for celebration.
“Lutosa has steadily grown, adapting masterfully to market changes and becoming a respected leader in potato processing. With exports to some 146 countries and with a dedicated workforce of nearly 1,000 employees, Lutosa has spent the past 45 years making significant achievements, forging strategic partnerships, and fostering an unwavering drive for customer satisfaction,” according to a recent press release.
In 2013, when McCain acquired Lutosa, a new era dawned for the company. Under the leadership of Alain Duranleau, and today Alain Dufait, Lutosa has cemented its position in the market, reaping the benefits of strategic synergies with its parent company.
“We are proud to celebrate 45 years in business. This is a significant milestone for us. We want to thank our customers, dedicated employees, and partners who have all contributed to our ongoing success. Our last ten years under McCain’s banner were a time of growth and improvement, and we look forward to building on this successful collaboration,” Alain Dufait said.
These three anniversaries were celebrated with a gala evening honoring the company’s employees, which took place on Saturday 9 December 2023. This momentous occasion celebrated the exceptional history of this extraordinary company.
