The German Potato Trade Association (Deutscher Kartoffelhandelsverband – DKHV) has announced the 72nd International Autumn Potato Exchange, scheduled to take place in Hamburg on 23 September 2025.

Widely regarded as a key event for the German and international potato trade, the exchange brings together professionals from across trading, processing, and marketing to discuss the latest market developments and challenges shaping the sector.

“This is where the industry meets to take the pulse of the market and set the tone for the coming season,” the DKHV stated. Alongside expert discussions and networking opportunities, the event will feature a company exhibition presenting new products, services, and innovations.

Representing around 170 companies in the potato value chain, the DKHV includes traders, packers, processors, breeders, growers, and suppliers of packaging materials and agricultural machinery. The Autumn Potato Exchange has established itself as an important platform for dialogue and collaboration in the industry.
