Ishida Europe is set to return to Interpack in May, outlining a portfolio of weighing, inspection and tray sealing technologies aimed at supporting food manufacturers in what the company describes as “efficient, safe and sustainable food production”.

Interpack 2026 will take place from 7–13 May at Messe Düsseldorf in Germany. Ishida Europe will exhibit on stand 14/A40 in Hall 14, where it plans to demonstrate what it calls its “latest solutions”, including the CCW-AS multihead weigher range, the IX-PD photon counting dual energy X-Ray inspection system, the Robot Grader and the QX-800 tray sealer.

According to the company, its stand will be divided into four product areas: multihead weighing, quality control, fresh food (including protein) and snacks packing. Across these zones, Ishida Europe says it will present “more than 30 solutions”, with dedicated experts assigned to each area to address manufacturers’ operational challenges.

Focus On Fresh And High-Volume Tray Sealing

A central feature of the exhibition will be the fresh food zone, where Ishida Europe will showcase its tray sealer range, including the QX-800 model, positioned for high-capacity production environments.

The company states that the QX-800 delivers “perfectly sealed trays in a compact, energy efficient designs that allows tool changes in under five minutes.” The machine is also described as being capable of handling skinpack applications, a format increasingly adopted for fresh meat and fish as processors seek to reduce packaging materials and enhance product presentation.

In parallel, Ishida Europe will highlight its CCW-AS multihead weigher range, positioned as a flagship solution within its weighing portfolio, and the IX-PD photon counting dual energy X-ray inspection system, which targets quality control and foreign body detection requirements. The Robot Grader, recently added to the portfolio, will also be featured as part of the company’s broader automation offer.

Industry 5.0 And Digital Integration

Beyond individual machines, Ishida Europe plans to demonstrate how its digital platforms align with what it terms Industry 5.0 principles. Central to this approach is Sentinel 5.0, the company’s remote monitoring and production software.

The system incorporates functions designed to support connectivity, traceability, remote diagnostics and paperless proof of compliance—areas that manufacturers increasingly cite as operational and regulatory priorities.
