Morocco Food World Joins interpack Alliance for 2027 Debut

Messe Düsseldorf will launch a new food processing and packaging trade fair in Morocco in 2027, expanding the interpack alliance into another North African market.
Morocco Food World is scheduled to take place in autumn 2027 and will be organised in partnership with the Fédération Nationale de l’Agroalimentaire (FENAGRI), the national association representing Morocco’s food industry.
The event will bring together food manufacturers and processors, retailers and international buyers with suppliers of processing technologies, packaging equipment, materials and related services.
Messe Düsseldorf said Morocco’s expanding food industry and investment in modern production capacity are increasing demand for processing technology, automation, quality assurance and packaging solutions.
Thomas Dohse, director of interpack at Messe Düsseldorf, said: “We are delighted to be working with our partners to establish a new trade fair – Morocco Food World – in a market where so much is happening right now.”
“Morocco has a dynamic food industry, is investing in modern production facilities and serves as a unique bridge between Europe and Africa. That is precisely where we see the great opportunity: We want to bring people, businesses and markets together and open up new opportunities for our clients in this exciting region.”
The organisers are positioning Morocco as a strategic location connecting European and African markets. Messe Düsseldorf said the country has close commercial ties with Europe while also providing access to markets in West Africa.
FENAGRI operates under the mandate of Morocco’s Ministry of Industry and Trade and brings together 15 industry associations and more than 2,600 companies, according to Messe Düsseldorf.
The launch extends Messe Düsseldorf’s presence in the Middle East and Africa, where it already organises interpack Middle East Africa alongside Food Africa in Cairo. Morocco Food World will become part of the wider interpack alliance, which comprises Messe Düsseldorf’s international processing and packaging exhibitions.
