Urschel Brings Little Gem Aspire Dicer to Tecno Fidta

Urschel will showcase its Little Gem Aspire Dicer at Tecno Fidta in Buenos Aires, with the compact cutting system designed for continuous fruit and vegetable processing, including potato applications.
The machine will be displayed at Booth H-01 in Hall 1 during the September 15-18 exhibition at the La Rural Trade Center.
Developed by Urschel’s Innovation & Development team, the Little Gem Aspire can produce slices ranging from 2 mm to 20 mm, as well as dices of up to 20 mm and strip cuts. Urschel’s product documentation lists potatoes among the vegetables that can be processed on the machine, including a 12 mm potato dice application.
At the centre of the system is Urschel’s StatiCut knife assembly, which uses specialty knives designed to allow processors to change between different cut sizes. The configuration is intended to provide flexibility while limiting the number of components that need to be maintained and stocked.
Urschel is positioning the Little Gem Aspire particularly for processors handling smaller production capacities or operating where floor space is limited. Its compact footprint is intended to provide slicing and dicing capability without the space requirements associated with larger industrial cutting systems.
The Little Gem Aspire takes its name from an earlier Urschel machine and expands the company’s current range of equipment for fruit and vegetable cutting.
Tecno Fidta, the International Exhibition of Food Technology, Additives and Ingredients, takes place in Buenos Aires from September 15 to 18 and brings together suppliers of processing equipment, ingredients and other technologies serving the food industry.
