Ishida to Demonstrate Integrated Snack and Frozen Food Packing at Gulfood

Ishida Europe will showcase a range of integrated weighing, packing and inspection technologies at Gulfood Manufacturing 2026, with systems aimed at snack and frozen food applications forming part of its exhibition line-up.
The event will take place from November 3-5 at Dubai World Trade Centre, where Ishida will exhibit on Stand C3-C4 in Hall 3.
Among the main exhibits will be the company’s Inspira iTPS snack food packing system, which integrates weighing, bagmaking and seal testing. The system is designed to combine these operations within a coordinated packing process, with a focus on production efficiency and seal integrity.
The technology is particularly relevant to snack producers operating high-volume packing lines, including manufacturers of potato chips and other bagged snack products.
Ishida will also display its CCW-AS multihead weigher configured for frozen food applications. The system forms part of the company’s multihead weighing range and is designed to improve weighing accuracy and consistency while reducing product giveaway. Ishida lists frozen and IQF products among the applications supported by its multihead weighing technology.
Other equipment at the show will include the QX-500 tray sealer. The machine has been developed for automated tray packing while retaining flexibility for different tray and film formats. Ishida says the system uses servo motor technology and incorporates a tool-change system intended to reduce downtime between production runs.
For inspection and quality control, the company will present its IX-PD X-ray inspection system alongside a DACS-GN-SE checkweigher incorporating a CEIA metal detector. The technologies are intended to provide contaminant detection and weight checking within automated food production and packing operations. Ishida says the IX-PD uses photon-counting dual-energy technology to improve detection of lower-density foreign material.
The company will also demonstrate Sentinel 5.0, its production monitoring and reporting platform. The software collects machine and production data and can connect both Ishida and non-Ishida equipment, providing operators with information on line performance and potential sources of inefficiency.
“Across the industry, businesses are under increasing pressure to enhance productivity, reduce costs and maintain the highest levels of product quality and compliance,” said Steve Jones, Marketing Director of Ishida Europe.
Ishida is positioning integration as a central theme of its Gulfood Manufacturing presence, bringing weighing, packing, inspection and production monitoring technologies together as manufacturers look to reduce waste, improve equipment utilisation and automate more stages of food packing.
