Cape Cod Introduces Sam Adams Summer Ale-Inspired Potato Chips
US-based Cape Cod potato chips company teamed up with Sam Adams to release a potato chips flavor inspired by the brewery’s summer ale. The limited-edition product carries a cracked pepper with a hint of lemon seasoning.
The chips are inspired by the citrus notes of Sam Adam’s summer ale, a crisp American wheat ale with a 5.3% ABV and hints of orange, lime, and lemon. The simplicity of the pepper and lemon flavors complement the fruity notes of the beer. Both the chips and ale are available now through the end of this summer, while supplies last. The chips are sold in 6.5-ounce bags at retailers throughout the US including Ahold, Publix, and Harris Teeter for a suggested retail price of USD3.79.
Cape Cod’s store locator will display the stores where the limited-edition chips are available, while Sam Adams has a locator that lets shoppers use filters to find stores, bars, and restaurants where the drink is available.
This is the second summer release of the chip and beer pairing.
