Fritoper Offers Potato Chips with Paella Flavor
Spanish snack company Fritoper has recently expanded its premium Gurma lineup of chips by adding a new unique flavor – Paella Valenciana. The firm developed the new snack in partnership with local chefs Pedro Fernandez and Paco Pardo from the restaurant Altamira, who won the International Paella Valenciana Contest in 2017 for the second time.
The new distinctive flavor, which celebrates local cuisine, will be launched through the Valencian chain of supermarkets and hypermarkets Consum. The chips are fried using high oleic sunflower oil. A bag contains 3.4g of fat and 2.2g of salt.
The Gurma range is gluten-free and features other flavors such as Fried Eggs, Pizza, Barbecue, Cheese & Onion, and others.
Fritoper was established in 1979 by Juan Perez and his wife Mari Carmen Martinez. On top of chips, the company product portfolio also includes corn/vegetable snacks, popcorn, and meat snacks.
