Kwik Trip Is Offering Donut-flavored Glazer Chips for a Limited Time
Convenience-store retailer Kwik Trip Inc. has debuted the Glazers Chips – potato chips featuring a flavor inspired by the brand’s Glazers Donuts. The new snack is now available in the company’s stores across Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin, writes Milwaukee Record.
The sweet-flavored chips are the latest addition to Kwik Trip’s private-label snack line called Urge. The idea of making these chips started out as a joke, as the company posted the idea on April Fools’ Day in 2016. Three years later, the product became a reality. The Glazer Chips are available for a limited time, while supplies last, the company said.
Glazer Donuts, which the company introduced back in 2003, are on of Kwik Trip’s house-baked items. The firm also offers sliced and wrapped bread and muffins. All of Kwik Trip’s baked goods are produced daily at its bakery facilities located in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
The company is a family-own convenience-store chain operating more than 600 locations in Wisconsin and Minnesota. The brand is available under the Kwik Star banner in Iowa.
