McCain Foods USA has expanded its SureCrisp portfolio with the launch of McCain SureCrisp Seaside Fries, a new seasoned french fry developed to maintain crispness during takeaway and delivery, as foodservice operators continue to respond to growing off-premise demand.

The new straight-cut fries are lightly coated and pre-seasoned with salt, pepper and garlic, eliminating an additional preparation step for restaurant kitchens while offering a flavour profile inspired by traditional boardwalk fries.

The launch comes as operators continue to focus on delivery performance, where maintaining food quality remains a key challenge. McCain said the product is designed to retain its texture throughout the delivery journey, helping restaurants preserve the customer experience beyond the dining room.

According to McCain, the new fries have been developed specifically for foodservice operators seeking products that can withstand delivery without compromising eating quality. The company said the seasoning blend also provides menu differentiation while reducing back-of-house preparation.
