Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Tariq Qabeel said that the Russian authorities have agreed to lift the ban on Egypt exports of potatoes from 8 agricultural areas and to allow the export of these crops starting from June 6. 

 

A researcher at the University of Dundee, the UK, has been awarded major funding for a study which may explain the mechanisms of crop killing diseases across the globe.

 

A research team at the Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture (TIA) interviews potato growers to bring together up to date advice on soil health monitoring, and case studies of growers implementing good soil health practices.

 

Syngenta Canada Inc. recently announced the registration of Revus® fungicide as a potato seed treatment for the suppression of pink rot and control of seed-borne late blight in potatoes, according to news.agropages.com.
