4th Symposium of Potato Cyst Nematode Management

The 4th Symposium of Potato Cyst Nematode Management will take place on September 7-8, at the Harper Adams University in Newport, United Kingdom.
Potato cyst nematodes and a number of other plant parasitic nematodes, including species of Meloidogyne, Pratylenchus and Trichodorus, cause extensive damage to potatoes.The Conference will cover many aspects including biology, population dynamics, legislation – EU policy, international distribution, sampling and decision making, diagnostics, integrated management, resistance (including GM plants), cultural control, chemical control, biological control and novel control methods.
During this 2-day event, delegates will be able to hear about recent research developments and view field based demonstrations. The symposium also provides an ideal forum for researchers, crop managers, agronomists, plant breeders and industry representatives to meet and discuss future research.
