Three New Flavored Potato Chips Inspired by Popular U.S.-Made Sandwiches

Lay’s has developed three new flavored potato chips inspired by some of the most popular sandwiches in the U.S.: BLT Sandwich Chips, Wavy Cuban Sandwich Chips, and Baked Lay’s Buffalo Chicken Sandwich Chips.
The new sandwich-flavored chips, which are already sold at major supermarkets around the country, are only available for a limited time.
“As America’s food leader, we strive to innovate in flavor by listening to our consumers to predict novel flavor trends that will surprise and delight our fans. The inspiration for these flavors was how much consumers love pairing their sandwiches with Lay’s. Through close collaboration between our culinary and seasoning teams, we were able to create bespoke seasonings to translate these complex, fan-favorite sandwich flavors to our Lay’s chips in a way that hits all the culinary notes consumers would expect,” Denise Lefebvre, Senior Vice-President of Foods R&D at PepsiCo, said, cited by Sports Keeds.
Lay’s BLT Sandwich chips are a tangy combination of smokey bacon and tomato tastes that provide a flavorful, crisp spin on one of America’s most cherished BLT sandwiches. Lay’s Wavy Cuban Sandwich Chips mix traditional flavors of pork and cheddar cheese to create a unique twist on the classic Cuban sandwich. Finally, Lay’s Baked Lay’s Buffalo Chicken Sandwich Chips combine cheesy and zesty buffalo sauce flavors for a delightful snacking experience.
