GEM Equipment of Oregon was recently bought by FPS Food Process Solutions. With this acquisition, FPS will be able to expand its product portfolio to include GEM Equipment’s well-known fryers and blanchers.

Both FPS and GEM Equipment have a long history of working with potato processors to provide processing equipment, with FPS providing equipment for freezing and GEM Equipment offering equipment for blanching and frying. FPS and GEM Equipment are now able to provide a larger range of solutions to food processors, beginning with specially designed end-to-end French fry and specialty potato lines, from blanching to freezing.
