New Ag International Academy Prepares Courses for 2017 and 2018

New Ag International has designed a 10-day program to prepare decision makers to contribute to value creation in their respective enterprises.
To deliver this high-level training course, New Ag International is partnering with prominent academics from University of California Davis (USA), University of Wageningen (Netherlands), Scuola Superiore Sant’ Anna in Pisa (Italy) and University of Lleida (Spain), and also with consultants and business people from the InVivo Group (France), the Tahal Group (Israel), Prospero and Partners (Belgium), DunhamTrimmer (USA), Koppert Biological Systems (Netherlands), AgroMapping (Spain), KarlMielke Consulting (Netherlands) and others to be announced shortly.
This program provides a broad picture of the interaction taking place between high-tech agricultural sectors and shows how traditional agricultural practices are changing.
New Ag International is deeply involved as an emerging industry aggregator and leading knowledge disseminator in the six sectors of:
• plant nutrition
• bio-stimulants
• biological plant protection
• irrigation/fertigation
• greenhouse cropping
• precision agriculture.
Taking place over 10 working days across three European countries, the program illustrates agronomical dimensions and market dynamics.
The program covers technological advances in biotechnologies impacting soils and plants, sensor-based data, GIS and GPS systems, variable rate technology, nutrients and water management. The program exposes participants to emerging trends, change makers, opportunities and challenges in the global agricultural market and shows how growers, agribusinesses and policymakers are adjusting to these using state-of-the-art information and technologies. It provides a global view, helping organizations to build a competitive advantage in a changing market place.
This program contributes to improving the organizational performance of participants as it evaluates opportunities in a global context, identifies best routes to growth, anticipates changes in industry structure that will affect business practices, maximizes potential and reduces risk as managers lead expansion into new countries and new business lines, creates strong alliances that will drive profits, and highlights the latest business models and best practices.
In 2017, the program will run once, from June 19 to June 30.
From 2018, the program will run twice a year, in June and September/October.
