Ecofrost Nears Start-Up Of New French Fry Production Site In France

Ecofrost has completed final production line tests at its new frozen French fry manufacturing facility in France, marking a key milestone as the project enters its final phase ahead of commercial operations.
In a company update published on January 13, Ecofrost confirmed that commissioning activities at the site are progressing according to plan, with the installation now technically ready for start-up. The company said the project remains on schedule and that fry production is expected to begin in the near future.
The new facility, operated by Ecofrost France, represents a major step in the group’s industrial expansion and its long-term commitment to the French market. The site has been developed to support large-scale frozen potato processing, drawing on Ecofrost’s established expertise in French fry production.
According to the company, the completion of final line tests places the project in its concluding phase, with remaining steps focused on operational ramp-up rather than construction or core installation work.
Ecofrost has not disclosed further technical or commercial details at this stage, indicating that additional information will be communicated once the plant is fully operational.
