Potatoes Are Britain’s Favorite Vegetables

The potato is Britain’s favorite vegetable, according to a new poll commissioned by Dolmio Veggie Goodness.
The potato was getting 72% of the vote, beating the carrot and onion. At the same time, the artichoke was voted the county’s most hated vegetable.
The study also found that Britons are not eating enough vegetables every day and many shun the healthy option because they do not like the way certain foods look or feel.
The potato is still a daily staple for households in the UK and has also been voted in the past as Britain’s number one ingredient, because of its versatility.
