Bonilla a la Vista Chips Make a Splash in Australia

Galician snack maker, Bonilla a la Vista is on its way of becoming a popular chips brand in Australia. The company has recently announced that its first product shipment to the Southern continent has sold out in only three weeks.
According to the firm, the demand is so great that the follow-up shipment is already sold-out, even before it has even left the shores of Spain. This second order is larger and contains a series of new products.
“We are delighted with the excellent reception we are having in Australia. We consider that the quality of our products: potatoes, olive and sea salt, as well as the can format, are the key to achieve these results,” says company executive Francesco Bonilla.
Bonilla a la Vista’s chips have made it to Australia thanks to El Colmado de Melbourne, a company specialized in importing gourmet products from Spain. The Galician snacks are the latest addition in their portfolio which includes products such as Santa Teresa quince or Olasagasti anchovies.
El Colmado was founded by Joaquin O Ponce in 2015, who previously worked in a major company dedicated to the commercialization of cheese.
