FAM STUMABO Expands Global Network with New Hubs in Spain, Germany, and the United States

FAM STUMABO is strengthening its international footprint through the opening of new facilities in Paterna (Spain), Niederzissen (Germany) and Franklin, Wisconsin (USA). The expansion marks a new phase in the company’s strategy to combine global expertise with a strong local presence, enhancing proximity, service responsiveness and customer support across key food-processing markets.
The new sites function as regional hubs, integrating commercial, technical and logistical operations under one roof. Each facility includes dedicated areas for customer consultation, equipment testing and demonstration, with a local inventory of high-demand spare parts to reduce lead times and maximise uptime for processors.
In Spain, a 1,000 m² purpose-built facility in Paterna reinforces FAM STUMABO’s 20-year presence on the Iberian Peninsula and provides space for warehousing, a showroom and testing services to support customers across Spain and Portugal. The company’s German branch has relocated to a larger site in Niederzissen, improving its capacity to serve clients throughout the DACH region. Meanwhile, the new Franklin, Wisconsin site has become the firm’s U.S. headquarters, uniting sales, service, technical support, spare-parts management and procurement for the United States, Canada and Mexico.
All three locations are equipped with test laboratories that enable processors to trial cutting machines using their own products under controlled conditions. Customers may visit in person or send products for remote testing and receive detailed performance reports, videos and processed samples. The laboratories also include industrial-grade refrigerated and freezer storage to maintain product quality during trials and shipping.
According to the company, these investments significantly improve its ability to deliver tailored support across multiple food categories, from potatoes and vegetables to cheese, meat and poultry, while ensuring communication and training in the customer’s own language.
“Our ongoing expansion is part of our long-term strategy to combine global expertise with a strong local presence,” said Mark Van Hemelrijk, CEO of FAM STUMABO. “By bringing our teams, test labs, and technical support close to our customers, we can better anticipate their needs, respond faster, and enable them to stay ahead in a competitive market. We aim to deliver high-performance cutting solutions and, most importantly, to build strong partnerships that help our customers thrive.”
