JADCO Partners With Polysense To Deploy AI Quality Control In French Fry Production

Aljouf Agricultural Development Company (JADCO), one of Saudi Arabia’s leading agri-industrial producers, has entered a strategic partnership with Belgium-based Polysense to accelerate the digitalisation of its French fry operations. The agreement introduces advanced in-line quality inspection technology to JADCO’s facility as the company pursues a broader shift toward automation and data-driven process control.
Under the partnership, Polysense will install Polysense Qualify, a vision-based inspection platform designed to measure length distribution and analyse surface defects on French fries at full production speed. The system delivers automated inspection with objective, repeatable data, reducing reliance on manual sampling and shifting the quality function toward continuous, real-time control.
At JADCO, the introduction of the system is expected to enhance decision-making across the line. Continuous monitoring supports early detection of process drift and raw material variation, enabling faster interventions that help minimise downtime. By providing precise and repeatable inspection for every fry, the platform supports consistent batch quality and strengthens traceability through time-stamped data linked to batch and SKU records.
For JADCO, the investment aligns with its goals to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and reinforce product quality. For Polysense, the project marks a significant step in the company’s global expansion and its first major deployment in Saudi Arabia.
