Royal HZPC Group Names Marlous Booijink as New Chief Financial Officer

Royal HZPC Group has announced the appointment of Marlous Booijink as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective 1 August 2025. She will succeed current CFO Jordan van Vilsteren, who is set to depart in October. Booijink brings more than two decades of experience in financial leadership roles across the food and agricultural sectors.
At 45, Booijink joins the global seed potato company from Pandriks Group, where she has served as CFO for the past four years, overseeing Finance, HR, IT, and Sustainability. Her career includes senior financial roles at FrieslandCampina and DSM, where she served as Vice President Finance for DSM Food Specialties. She began her professional journey at Abbott before advancing rapidly within the Dutch food industry.
In addition to her corporate roles, Booijink holds a position on the supervisory board of CRV, a cooperative for cattle improvement, where she chairs the audit committee.
Booijink is also personally connected to the agricultural sector. Together with her husband, she manages an arable farm in the Noordoostpolder region, with approximately 50 hectares under seed potato cultivation.
“We are thrilled to welcome Marlous,” said Hans Huistra, CEO of Royal HZPC Group. “She brings her extensive experience in the international food industry, along with profound knowledge of financial disciplines and ERP systems. Her familiarity with our seed potato world is invaluable, and I am confident she will be a great fit within our leadership team, which includes Herman Verveld, Peter Ton, and Robert Graveland, alongside Marlous and myself.”
The transition follows the planned departure of Jordan van Vilsteren, whose tenure will formally conclude in October 2025. “We are grateful for his dedication and passion over the years and pleased to facilitate a smooth transition between Jordan and Marlous,” Huistra added.
Royal HZPC Group, based in Joure, the Netherlands, is a global leader in seed potato breeding, trading and innovation, with operations in over 90 countries.
