The New CEO of HZPC Americas Will Oversee HZPC Activities in the US and Canada
Aron Derbidge has been named the new CEO of HZPC Americas Corp. Aron will assume responsibility for overseeing HZPC activities in the US and Canada as of May 1, 2023.
Aron takes with him more than 20 years of expertise in producing and selling seed potatoes as well as assisting companies in expanding their commercial operations throughout the United States and Canada. He graduated from Idaho State University with a Master of Business Administration and Management after earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Utah.
Aron has concentrated on better comprehending how to strengthen research and development initiatives to advance the potato business in North America since joining HZPC Americas Corp. two years ago as Senior Vice President of Sales. Working for the top potato grower in the world has allowed Aron to contribute to producing notable outcomes for clients throughout Canada and the United States.
Aron has long served as a prominent figure in the potato business. He was recently named to the Board of Directors of Potatoes USA and chairs the organization’s potato section. (ASTA). Through these positions, Aron can assist HZPC Americas Corp. partners and farmers in resolving both existing and prospective problems. Aron will serve as the organization’s president and guide the new HZPC Americas Corp. staff as it works to advance the potato industry’s goals by differentiating potatoes in North America.

As we shift our business model from direct seed sales to a licensed seed sale model, I’m looking forward to seeing how we collaborate with our partners across the value chain to help them stay ahead and continue growing,” Aron Derbidge said.
While Jeff Scramlin will no longer serve as president, he will continue to collaborate with the HZPC Americas Corp. team on special initiatives, such as assisting Potato Glory (a trademark held by the Royal HZPC Group) initiatives that raise awareness of and stimulate demand for potatoes.
