tna Appoints New CEO
Food processing and packaging equipment manufacturer, tna has recently appointed a new CEO. The company announced the promotion of its chief sales officer (CSO), Jonathan Rankin to the chief executive officer position.
Rankin held various global management positions at tna from 1993 to 2003, prior to returning earlier this year to lead the company’s global sales division. During the hiatus, he was general manager for food processing company, Marel, in charge of driving the growth of the company’s Oceania operations.
With more than three decades of experience in the food industry, Rankin will now be leading day-to-day operations at tna, while identifying new opportunities to take the company to the next level.
tna has come a long way since it was founded in 1982 by Managing Director, Alf Taylor and Director Nadia Tylor, but, according to company officials, there’s still a lot of room for further expansion.
“Our growth over the last few years has been incredible. We now operate out of 30 sites and employ over 500 talented people around the world. Over the last 36 years, we’ve added some truly amazing people to our team, gained a fantastic bunch of customers and established ourselves as a leader on the snack food manufacturing market,” said Taylor. He further explained: “Jonathan celebrated some of our most important milestones with us and played an instrumental role in our growth. We are thrilled when he decided to come back and can’t wait to see just how much further he’ll take the business.”
