TriVision Joins Strategic Alliance with Insort and Qcify to Advance Smart Food Safety Solutions

Danish technology firm TriVision has joined strategic forces with food sorting and inspection leaders Insort and Qcify, forming a high-impact collaboration backed by Nordic investment group Alder. The alliance is set to drive innovation in food inspection, sorting, and packaging through advanced vision systems and data-driven automation.
The partnership leverages the complementary strengths of the three companies to deliver intelligent, integrated solutions that raise industry standards for food safety, efficiency, and sustainability. TriVision is widely recognized for its high-performance visual inspection systems for the food industry. Qcify brings deep expertise in AI-powered quality control, while Insort is known for pioneering Chemical Imaging Technology (CIT®), a hyperspectral analysis platform capable of real-time, molecular-level inspection.
“TriVision joining the group marks another exciting step in our mission to push the boundaries of food inspection and remain the leading provider of inspection solutions,” said Jesper Bach, CEO of TriVision. “Together, we can drive innovation and expand our market presence on a much greater scale.”
The transaction was completed with Carsquare acting as exclusive advisor to the seller. According to Alder, the strategic investor behind the deal, the collaboration is a step toward building a comprehensive platform of technology-driven companies focused on sustainable food production.
“With the addition of TriVision to our group, we continue to strengthen our commitment to sustainable food production,” said Dag Broman, Partner at Alder. “The combined expertise of TriVision, Qcify, and Insort creates a powerful platform for the future of intelligent food processing.”
Founded in 2015, Qcify has made significant strides in automating quality control through artificial intelligence. Since 2011, Insort has led in the development of hyperspectral food inspection systems used widely in sorting applications across the food industry.
“We welcome TriVision as the next strategic partner in our collective journey,” said Matthias Jeindl, Founder of Insort. “Their outstanding technological know-how complements and enhances our efforts to deliver unique, intelligent inspection solutions that shape the future of food safety and efficiency.”
The collaboration between TriVision, Qcify, and Insort signals a broader trend toward integrated smart systems that reduce waste, improve traceability, and support greater sustainability in food production. With support from Alder, the trio is positioned to deliver the next generation of intelligent inspection solutions for manufacturers globally.
