Bringing the Potato Shreds Gaming Lounge to Collegiate Tailgates Across the Country
Global e-sports and gaming company Gen.G has declared its collaboration with Idahoan Foods, the company behind the well-known grab-and-go snack, Potato Shreds.
Fans of video games and potatoes at the University of Florida, Boston University, and the University of Kentucky can enjoy the Shreds Gaming Lounges on campus in addition to tasting the bold tastes of Shreds. In their second year of collaboration, Gen.G and Idahoan Foods present the delectable delicacy to Gen.G’s college supporters.
“The Shreds Gaming Lounge will be a full experience, including product giveaways, a gaming hub equipped with the latest gaming consoles and popular retro games, an on-site High Score Contest, and a designated relaxation area for students to unwind. The lounge will also, of course, feature a free sample station, where students can sample both the Bacon Cheddar and Triple Cheese Shreds flavors,” according to a recent press release.
The traveling activation will occur on campus at the University of Kentucky from October 7 to 11 and at the UK football tailgate on October 12. The next destination is at Boston University from October 28 to November 1, followed by the BU hockey tailgate on November 1. The last phase will occur at the University of Florida from November 11 to November 15, followed by a UF football tailgate on November 16.
