Potatoes USA Annual Meeting Set for This Week in Denver

Potatoes USA (formerly the US Potato Board) will hold its annual meeting this March 12-15, in Denver, Colorado. Growers from all over the country will converge to assess past and plan future marketing strategies from the nation’s official potato promotion organization.
North Dakota native John Halverson will complete his year as Chairman of Potatoes USA. Halverson runs the Black Gold Farms operation in Arbyrd, Missouri.
Board members representing North Dakota and Minnesota are expected to be in attendance this week. From North Dakota that includes Tom Enander from Grenora; Eric Halverson, Grand Forks; Casey Hoverson, Larimore; Bill Sheldon from Ray and Jeff VanRay from Pingree.
Minnesota will be represented by Jennifer Borowicz from Crookston, Jeff Edling and Gary Gray, both from ClearLake. NPPGA’s Marketing and Communications Director Ted Kreis will also be attending.
