Register now for BP2011
Record numbers are expected to attend this year’s BP2011, according to THE uk’s Potato Council head of communications, Dr Sharon Hall.
Online registration is now open at potato.org.uk/bp2011 and industry representatives are already flocking to book their tickets.
“Book now and ensure fast-tracking on arrival at the event, so you can make the most of your day,” urges Dr Hall.
Entry to this year’s event held at the Yorkshire Event Centre, Harrogate on November 23 and 24 is free of charge and students who are potential next-generation growers, packers and members of the supply chain will be very welcome to attend alongside those already involved in the industry.
“BP2011 is the number one event in the British potato industry. There is so much do and see – the latest equipment and machinery, market information, seminars on issues such as emerging pests and diseases, the latest on R&D – in addition to ample networking opportunities,” says Dr Hall. “This year’s conference will provide a specialist programme of particular interest to all sectors of the potato industry.”
With over 150 of Europe’s leading potato industry related companies exhibiting, there is something for everyone. Current exhibitors include machinery distributors, engineering companies, seed growers, packers, ag-chem companies – everyone involved in the supply chain from the field to the table.
