The Fruit Logistica Innovation Award 2017 honors outstanding new products that have had a positive impact on the fresh produce industry. The awards will be presented in Berlin, Germany, February 10.

More than 70,000 trade visitors from over 130 countries will have the opportunity to vote for innovation of the year on February, 8-9.

The top ten innovations will be presented in a special exhibit between Halls 20 and 21. The winner will be announced on February, 10, at 14:30h.

Among the nominees are BE-Cube Demountable Pallet Box System, Beekenkamp Verpakkingen B.V., Netherlands. The BE-Cube is a fully collapsible space saving multi-purpose pallet box system for storing and transporting fresh vegetables, including potatoes.
The other nominees are Crisp Fresh Watermelon, Knox™ – Delayed pinking in fresh cut lettuce, Mango Peeler & De-Cheeker, Natupol Excel – Bee Vision, SoFruBox® System, Streamer Automatic Spiralizer, Sustainable Grow Bag for Tasty Tomatoes, The Cracking Monkey – Pili Nuts and yello® – The Color of Taste.
