Better Made Introduces Iconic Potato Chip Flavors In Standalone Shakers

Better Made Snack Foods has extended its brand beyond packaged snacks with the launch of standalone seasoning shakers containing the same spice blends used on its potato chips.
The Detroit-based snack manufacturer has introduced four flavors — Barbecue, Red Hot, Sweet Heat, and Sour Cream and Onion — packaged in 5 oz shaker containers. The products allow consumers to apply Better Made’s proprietary seasoning blends to foods beyond chips, including home-prepared meals.
According to the company, the new shakers replicate the seasoning profiles found on its snacks and are positioned for broad culinary use. Each shaker is priced at USD 8.99 and is available for purchase online.
“We’re thrilled to bring the iconic flavor that our fans have loved for decades straight from the bag to their favorite foods,” said Phil Gusmano, VP of Purchasing at Better Made Snack Foods. “With the release of these seasoning shakers, the unmistakable flavor of Better Made’s seasoning can now be dusted and dashed on everything from veggies and potatoes to chicken, steak, and beyond. The flavors you reach for by the bag are finally yours to unleash at home, and the possibilities are limitless!”
The move reflects a wider trend among snack manufacturers to leverage established flavor equity into adjacent product categories, expanding brand reach while tapping into at-home cooking and seasoning consumption.
