Miss Vickie’s Kettle Cooked Potato Chips “Stroke of Goodness” Art Contest

Miss Vickie’s Kettle Cooked Potato Chips are now available at grocery and retail stores across the U.S., allowing people to enjoy their favorite snack at home. To celebrate Miss Vickie’s arrival on shop shelves, the company is collaborating with a special judge to launch an art contest inspired by the emotive watercolor images found on its packaging.
Miss Vickie’s will select one winner’s original artwork from the “Stroke of Goodness” contest to be put on a billboard, making an otherwise stressful circumstance, such as traffic, more joyful.
“Expanding Miss Vickie’s to grocery store shelves allows us to share our unique potato chips with even more consumers. The art on Miss Vickie’s packaging is reflective of our longstanding heritage, and we wanted to embrace that by inviting our fans to create original artwork to share with thousands of commuters.,” Tina Mahal, senior vice president of brand marketing at Frito-Lay North America, mentioned.
Fans in the U.S. are invited to contribute unique artwork inspired by their favorite Miss Vickie’s flavor. If chosen, their artwork will show on a billboard in a high-traffic region, making even a traffic gridlock a little more bearable. Entries will be judged on their relevance to Miss Vickie’s brand image, inventiveness, and uniqueness.
Miss Vickie’s has also added a surprise judge to the contest to contribute their artistic eye and assist in selecting the winning artwork. While the special judge has yet to be disclosed, their love of art and munching makes them an ideal candidate for the role.
Eligible consumers nationwide can enter by posting their original artwork inspired by Miss Vickie’s on Instagram with the hashtags #MissVickiesArt and #Contest and tag and follow @MissVickiesUS.
