Prompted by increasingly warmer temperatures, Tasteful Solutions has unveiled a semi-prepared, time-saving Fresh & Easy Potato Salad in two flavors.

The new products combine fresh, bite-size potatoes with a chef-inspired seasoning packet. Customers can microwave, stir, chill and serve the potato salad all in the same container, which makes preparation easy.

“Potato salad is a time-honored dish that often signified summer and gatherings of family and friends. Although a fan-favorite, fresh potato salad prep can take hours. With this value-added kit from Tasteful Selections, Fresh & Easy Potato Salad comes together in minutes with the easy addition of mayonnaise and minimal prep,” said RPE Marketing Director Tim Huffcutt.

Tasteful Solutions is selling the potato salad in Traditional and Mediterranean flavors. The first option pairs fresh, Honey Gold bite-size potatoes with a blend of home-style potato salad flavors including onion, mustard, parsley, and celery. The Mediterranean variety features fresh, Sunburst Blend, bite-size red and yellow potatoes with flavors including red bell pepper, garlic, and lemon.

The two potato salads will be available in time for Memorial Day (May 27) for a limited time at select Walmart stores.
