Lays has just released a limited edition miniature washing machine for oily fingertips. The Lays fingertip washing machine is 15 cm tall, 11 cm wide, and has a USB Type-C charging port.

Although it is not as sophisticated as a modern washing machine, it has an ingenious induction system that sprays atomized alcohol when it detects a fingertip inside the washing machine, Oddity Central and News 9 recently wrote. The alcohol is supplied by a refillable tank located at the bottom of the mini washing machine.

The fingertip washing machine recently went viral on Japanese social media, with a large number of people expressing interest in it as a collector’s item or simply for fun.

Only five of these devices will be made available, and only through a special lottery.
