The international exhibition on potato production, storage and processing technologies launches its third edition in Chandigarh, India.

India Potato Expo 2014, along with 6th International Horti Expo, is held at Sec-34, Exhibition Ground, in Chandigarh, this February 20 – 22. This is India’s largest trade show focused on potato and potato based products and services, educating the Indian potato growers by displaying world’s latest varieties, seeds, greenhouse concepts, production and post harvest technologies and other inputs.

The event aims to facilitate employment and income opportunities for small and marginal farmers in all parts of India.

As this event will also bring together the growers, wholesalers, retailers, corporate representatives and exporters under one roof, it sets the stage for more business for them as well. Close to 150 exhibitors are expecting visitors at their stands for the following three days.

Attending companies are specialised in processing technologies, packaging machineries, potato products, agriculture and biotechnology, as well as precision farming products and equipments, climate control and automation solutions, weighing, handling, and more.

Potato Expo India is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, as the country is one of the largest potato producers in the world and has one of the largest consumer bases.
