UK-based artisan chips producer Fairfields Farm recently won five awards during this year’s Great Taste Awards, writes Essex TV.

The distinctions, which judge thousands of products on taste alone, give the stamp of approval from some of the country’s most appreciated critics.

In this year’s competition, Fairfields Farm received one-start gold awards for its Sweet Chili, Sea Salt & Black Pepper and Sea Salt & Aspall Cyder Vinegar Chips, as well as for its Tomato & Herb and Jalapeno & Lime Lentil Bites.

The company, which is located in Colchester, has been producing chips for 13 years now. According to Fairfields Farm, they use only the best hand-selected potatoes, that are grown on their farm. What’s more, the firm cooks and packs its chips in its on-site factory thus giving customers maximum traceability.
