During PotatoEurope 2022, NÖS presented two new registrations for the chips and food sector.

The Nöstling breed, a yellow-skinned and highly resistant tuber is particularly suitable for use as a boiling potato. In addition, the variety promises rapid tuber development during cultivation, coupled with an attractive appearance and a stable tuber shape. The Nöstling potato has a very high yield potential, with uniform sorting.

The second variety innovation of NÖS is Meichip, a late potato that is especially suitable for processing purposes, especially for the chip industry. The round-oval and light yellow processing potato also meet the requirements of the modern grower because of its low susceptibility to diseases.
