Mike Barber has recently been appointed as sales manager at Vanmark, a maker of commercial equipment for processing potatoes and other crops. Barber formerly worked as an applications specialist for PFI, a sister company of Vanmark.

“Mike brings a wealth of industry knowledge and sales contacts as well as experience working with our sales team. Mike’s personality and drive for success will be a great fit for Vanmark,” Jason Davis, vice president, of Vanmark, said.

Barber will oversee the sales staff in his new position and be in charge of sales planning, market expansion and development, and client interaction.

Barber has more than 30 years of experience working in the food processing equipment sector and has held positions in sales, sales management, technical training, document writing, and system integration. He was employed by PFI from 2006 till 2020, and then he came back in 2022.
